Overcome your likely ignorance of the Hunagarian language for once and be part of this defining moment!

On April 12, 2026, on the occasion of the Hungarian parliamentary elections, Stream Art Network is hosting a hybrid stream leading up to the announcement of the election results. During the program, through various transmedial discursive experiments, we aim to outline how the experience, role, and responsibility of the individual operates within a democratic, modern system. Exploring the past, present, and future, we map out the advantages, disadvantages, pitfalls, and possibilities of different forms of social organization, keeping in focus the individual’s impact on their immediate environment as well as their community-forming capabilities. With a wide range of guests and collaborators, we deconstruct the system down to its constituent parts. Artists, professionals, thinkers, theoreticians, performers, audiovisual magicians, oracles, digital avatars, and distant connections all come together to shape the program, which may help pass the long hours until the election results are announced, and who all share in the hopes, tensions, and anticipations of the day. Join us in the greenscreen or follow us online! Let’s await the announcement of the results together!
